In Farmville, Roaming Animals can escape from your friend's farms and you may have to track them down and adopt them. You will see the alert in your Facebook news feed but occasionally other people click too fast and you lose your opportunity to adopt the pet. There is a hack that allows more people to adopt a pet.
Once you rescue the Roaming Animal, you can leave it in your Gift box for awhile. This will allow 8 other people can also adopt the animal. Placing the animal down in your farm right after you adopt it will prevent anyone else from adopting it.
